Operating a Mobile Asphalt Plant with up-to-date computerized equipment controls
Oversee plant maintenance and operation
Ensure that the equipment & plant functions as designed at all time
Assist with troubleshooting equipment malfunctions in order to minimize downtime as well as striving to improve equipment/plant operating efficiency to maximize production, save time, save fuel, and minimize labor
In charge of plant tear-down and plant sets
Daily reporting
JOB REQUIREMENTS -
Seeking a candidate with at least two (2) seasons of experience operating a hot asphalt plant; however, we are willing to perform additional training as required
Moderate to heavy lifting, bending, reaching above shoulder level, climbing stairs and ladders frequently, kneeling, and stooping
Clear and effective communication skills (speech, vision, hearing/listening, writing, etc.)
Valid driver license
Ability to pass pre-employment DRUG test and random DRUG &/or alcohol screens
WORK WEEK / JOB DURATION –
Typically work 50 to 70+ hours, 5-6 days per week, depending on the weather & project status. Work is generally from thaw until freeze-up.
